ACCEPTANCE & COMMITMENT THERAPY

ACT has been used effectively to help treat workplace stress, test anxiety, social anxiety disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and psychosis. It has also been used to help treat medical conditions such as chronic pain, substance abuse, and diabetes.

APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS

Applied Behavioral Analysis or ABA, therapy is an approach to treatment that focuses on using positive reinforcement to improve behavior, build social and communication skills, and acquire adaptive living skills. ABA uses behavioral psychology principles to set goals, reinforce behaviors and measure outcomes using data.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS

CBI is based on the belief that behavior is mediated by cognitive processes. Learners are taught to examine their own thoughts and emotions, recognize when negative thoughts and emotions are escalating in intensity, and then use strategies to change their thinking and behavior.

NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORT

NEMT is Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and it is an important benefit for beneficiaries who need to get to and from medical services but have no means of transportation. The Code of Federal Regulations requires States to ensure that eligible, qualified Medicaid beneficiaries have NEMT to take them to and from providers.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

PD is learning to earn or maintain professional credentials such as academic degrees to formal coursework, attending conferences, and informal learning opportunities situated in practice. It has been described as intensive and collaborative, ideally incorporating an evaluative stage. TBCG also offers course modules and continuing education credits for behavior technicians and and analysts as a partner and provider with QABA (Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA®)

NEUROCOGNITIVE ASSESSMENT

NCA Neurocognitive assessment is a noninvasive method for measuring brain function. It evaluates specific cognitive abilities, including memory, fine motor control, and recognition, among others. Various abilities are linked to different areas in the brain. For instance, organization skills are linked to the frontal lobes, while memory skills are concentrated in the temporal lobes.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies.

FUNCTIONAL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENTS

FBA is an approach to figuring out why a student acts a certain way. It uses different methods to understand what’s behind behavior challenges. The basic idea is that a student’s behavior serves a purpose.

Executive Function (EF) encompasses a range of self-management and organizational abilities crucial for goal achievement. To navigate the demands of school, work, and life successfully, individuals need to adeptly handle their emotions, concentrate effectively, organize their tasks, and manage their time efficiently.
