Applied Behavior Analysis Behavior Therapist/Technician
Behavior technicians play an essential role in providing support and implementing treatment plans for individuals receiving applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. Eligible applicants should have a clear background check, a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be certified nationally as a behavior technician by the BACB or QABA credentialing boards. Uncertified applicants will be considered but must commit to becoming certified within the first 30 days of employment. Pay is based on experience and education and ranges from $18-$25. Licensed Behavior Analyst (Hybrid)
At TBCG a Licensed Behavior Analyst is one who uses applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to assess and address behavioral challenges in individuals by observing behavior patterns, identifying the functions of those behaviors, and creating personalized plans to improve desired skills through interventions like positive reinforcement and environmental modifications; they typically work with clients, technician level providers, and other professionals across various settings like schools, homes, and clinics, collaborating with families and caregivers to implement these plans and monitor progress. This position is a contracted position with flexible hours that requires at least 40 hours of in-person/on-site service delivery per month. Locations: Durham, Henderson, Roxboro, 80% virtual
Licensed Special Education Teacher
Bridge Therapeutic Academy (BTA) is a homeschool cooperative, is a collection of licensed behavior analysts, licensed special education teachers and parent volunteers, that exists for the purpose of providing evidence based therapies (ABA Therapy, Developmental Therapy, Medication Assisted Therapy, Parent Training in Positive Discipline) in conjunction with academic tutoring support in the areas of Reading, English, Social Studies, Math, Latin, Greek, and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living for homeschoolers and their families based on Vygotskyian Learning Theory and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavior Support. A BTA Licensed Special Education Teacher will oversee the educational tutoring services portion of our BTA Homeschool Cooperative and serve as a resource for our homeschool families that receive testing, tutoring and assessment services via our cooperative in conjunction with the NC State Education Agency Authority. These duties include liaising between families and the local LEA, administering educational achievement testing, updating IEPs/504 Plans and supporting with the administrative and documentation requirements necessary for families to successfully operate their homeschools. The primary role of this position within our tutoring program will be to not only provide direct tutoring to students but also oversee other tutors, manage schedules, train new staff, invoice clients, ensuring quality of tutoring sessions, and acting as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and program administration; essentially leading and coordinating the tutoring program’s operations while actively tutoring students themselves. Eligible applicants should have a clear background check, a bachelor’s degree in education or psychology (masters degree preferred), and be certified nationally as a behavior technician by the BACB or QABA credentialing boards. Uncertified applicants will be considered but must commit to becoming certified within the first 30 days of employment. Pay is based on experience and education and ranges from $25-$40. Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver (NEMT Driver)
At TBCG, a A NEMT driver, is responsible for safely transporting individuals who cannot drive themselves to and from medical appointments, by providing a secure and comfortable ride while understanding and accommodating their specific needs; this may involve assisting with getting in and out of the vehicle and ensuring they reach their appointments on time. Eligible applicants should have a clear background check, excellent driving record, a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be certified nationally as a behavior technician by the BACB or QABA credentialing boards. Uncertified applicants will be considered but must commit to becoming certified within the first 30 days of employment. Pay is based on experience and education and ranges from $18-$25.
